1. Think BIG & BELIEVE.
Believe that anything is possible and you will be able to push aside any obstacles to your dream. As you believe you will achieve. Whatever you believe with real feelings and emotion becomes your reality. If you believe you can, then you can and equally if you believe you can’t – then that’s right also you can’t. Even better, a belief is just a thought you continue to think, and you can decide to change what you think, making a new beginning possible at any time. You can have anything you want if you give up the belief that you can’t have it…. Go on, think BIG!
2. Let go of what you can’t control.
We can never know what’s just around the corner, what can suddenly be flung at us changing our life in an instant, but we always have control over what we do about it and how we react. Concentrate on what you can control and put all of your energy into that. Life is simple really…things happen, but it’s the meaning you attach to it, the thoughts you have, how you respond and what you do about it that matters. Take control of what you can and let go of the rest.
3. Change your mind.
If you can not change your mind then you can never change anything. Take a fresh new look and see things from a different perspective. Change begins right now in this moment. Your mindset controls your life. What you think is what you get. Wherever you are right now, make a change with whatever skill or talent you have right now. You can go as far as your mind lets you go. If you're waiting on the perfect moment, you'll be waiting forever. If you want change in your life, change your mind NOW.
4. Face your fears.
It can be very scary to make a big life change but usually our fears are much bigger in our mind than what they actually are in reality. Don’t let them stop you, push yourself to tackle them head on and then the fear will disappear. Fear is only there because there is something you don’t know yet. Don't be left living with the regret of what you wished you had done. Live your life so that you never regret the chances you didn’t take.
5. Realize every step is necessary.
Nothing is ever wrong. We learn from every step we take. Whatever you did today was a necessary step to get to tomorrow. All the lessons you learn make you better than you used to be and are just another step in your journey. Use what you have learnt in a productive way that will move you forward to what you most want. One learning step every day is 365 new steps in a year and that will be life changing. Think of anything that happens as on your way to success, not in your way.
6. Challenge yourself to do things differently.
Look at how you do things. Start with becoming aware of what you do unconsciously by habit everyday, and then consciously make the decision to do it differently. You might just start with driving a different way to work or saying hello to someone you wouldn’t normally talk to. Who knows what opportunities new paths, new people and new experiences will open up for you. If you keep doing the same thing, you will keep getting the same result.
7. Choice is freedom.
To be able to get up each day and have the freedom to choose how your day will be is living life on your terms. Freedom comes from the choices you make… if you don’t like your life it is time to start making better choices. Take the time to do absolutely nothing, to still the mind and just be, this often brings everything into perspective. You have the freedom to choose to be anyone or to have anything.
