If like us you live in the Southern Hemisphere, with the change of season we have now moved into Spring - the blossoms are bursting, birds are chirping, and the sun is shining brightly…. a time of new beginnings.
This month we are focusing our "Thought of the Week" on a subject that will help you clear the way for this new beginning -
More specifically -
In the coming weeks we'll share words of encouragement, reasons why and how Mental Decluttering can enhance your life, well being and happiness... and we'll teach you processes that will help you go about doing this.
Spring Mind Declutter Challenge
We can approach Decluttering our mind the same way we would declutter a cupboard or a drawer in our home or office. Before you can get rid of anything you first need to take a look and see what's in there.
So, before you can start to declutter your mind you will need to identify the thoughts you regularly think. Then work out which thoughts you want to hold on to and which ones you want to get rid of.
How do I know which thoughts are keepers?
Easy! By the way they make you feel. If it feels good - it's a keeper, if it feels bad - it's in the trash.
Over the course of the next 7 days use this invaluable exercise to help identify and sort your thoughts into "To Keep" & "To Go" categories.
7 Day Thought Challenge.
For now, this is ALL you need to do. You don't need to analyze your thoughts, don't over think this. The sole purpose is to record your thoughts so that you have a starting place to begin your Spring Cleaning... that's next week's task.
Next week we'll teach you the process of PIVOTING.
This is the best technique ever for Decluttering negative thoughts, and feeling great more of the time. Who doesn't want that!
