One of the means of honouring the sun is through the dynamic asana sequence Surya Namaskar. The best time to do Surya Namaskar is early morning at sunrise, on an empty stomach. Once you become familiar, you can connect your breath and movement to flow smoothly through the sequence for a wonderful start to your day, preparing you physically and mentally.
